Who is this course designed for?
This course is designed for women 40+ who are feeling burned out, stressed out, or stuck.
Have you ever felt like this?
- The state of the world makes it hard for me to be happy.
- Caring for my children and my elderly parents is a lot to manage.
- Covid was a lot, and it still is.
- I wonder whether my kids will be safe at school this year.
- I need to figure out what’s next for me.

If you are looking into the future with bit of dread, I totally get where you are coming from. Imagine if you could feel significantly different in less than six weeks. That’s my goal for you with this program. Regardless of external circumstances, you get to choose self-compassion, self-care, and joy.
For six weekly meetings, you will learn ways to reclaim your joy. We'll be using evidence-based methods like self-compassion and mindfulness, and we'll do it in a supportive group of other women who feel just like you do.

Your Coach on this Adventure
Terry Horton is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and a PQ Pioneer. She is also a skilled trainer and facilitator with over fifteen years of experience. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Terry served as the life coach at the fabulous luxury wellness resort, Canyon Ranch Tucson. Terry has helped hundreds of women and men get unstuck, discover their joy, and live a life they love.

We will start with powerful questions:
How do you feel? How do you want to feel? What will help you feel that way now?
Let's figure out how to get you feeling how you wish.
Between session practice:
Together, we will come up with homework so that you practice what you are learning throughout the week between sessions.
Finalize a plan:
By the end of our time together, you will have a plan for choosing joy in your life.
Some of the tools we will use:
Self-compassion
Learn how to practice the same compassion for yourself as you offer to everyone else.
Question the believability of your habitual unhelpful thoughts
Begin to notice and question your habitual thoughts that don't serve you, and learn to replace them with thoughts that are objectively true or even positive.
Meditation and mindfulness
Claim our time together to begin your meditation or mindfulness routine.
Honor your physical self
We’ll focus on self-care and self-love.
Cultivate friendships
The research shows that cultivating friendships over a lifetime is an essential component of well-being.
We’ll reflect on how to make our friendships a priority, even during a pandemic.
